Cornerstone Concrete specializes in concrete tilt-up construction. They wanted to make sure their logo was conceptual, simple enough to remember, and printable in various sizes. They originally wanted to include a crane in their logo but after several comps they finally went with this more simple, strong concept. We were concerned the crane would “get lost” in very large or small applications, like signage that would be viewed from the street or embroidery on a t-shirt. The lettering is custom designed (not a font). It’s very blockish and reminiscent of concrete walls. I really enjoyed working with the people at Cornerstone Concrete. They had a good idea of what they wanted, clearly communicated their needs and were open to my professional suggestions. Perfect clients!

Hairdresser Velvet has been in business for years in the Seattle area. Now that her daughter is a licensed aesthetician and massage therapist they are expanding into a full service salon and wanted a more professional, updated look. Shown is a mailer announcing the opening of their new location, a tri-fold brochure price list and their appointment cards.
